Every option for your knee, from one surgeon, in 15 minutes.
Arthrosamid, PRP, stem cell treatment or surgery. Consultant knee surgeon Dr Fahad Attar does all four, so the Options Call is the one conversation where nobody is selling you their only tool. £30, Monday evenings, from your sofa, refunded if you don't come away clearer. Below: the one question he asks before he'll even look at a scan.

"I've tried everything. Physio, the jab, painkillers. Nothing's stuck, and I don't know who to believe."
If that's where you are, you're in good company. Most people who speak to Dr Attar have already been told different things by different people.
Some were told it's surgery or nothing. Some had an injection that "definitely did something for the first four weeks", then wore off. Some are on a list that keeps moving. Some have been told they're "not bad enough yet" while they plan their day around the stairs.
And underneath all of it is the same worry: whoever I see next will sell me whatever they happen to do.
The problem usually isn't a shortage of treatments. It's that the answer depends on whose door you walk through.
An injection clinic can only offer injections. A hospital surgeon is set up for surgery. A physio can only offer physio. Each one is right about their own tool and quiet about the others. So you collect opinions, and none of them line up, and the knee decides for you in the end.
There's a simpler way to get a straight answer, and it takes 15 minutes. Keep reading, or watch the video above.
Why the Four-Route Review gives you an answer nobody else can
Dr Attar offers all four main routes for a knee. That's rare. It means the only thing he has to go on is what's actually right for you, and he can tell you which routes aren't worth your money.
Why the usual route fails you
- One tool per clinic. You're assessed against the treatment they sell, not against every option.
- The scan leads. "Your MRI looks bad" becomes the plan, even when what's actually stopping you is the giving way or the nights.
- Nobody says "not yet". A clinic that only does injections rarely tells you to wait.
- You pay £300 to find out. A full private consultation is the first time anyone will give you a proper answer, so most people put it off for another year.
How the Four-Route Review works
- Start with you, not the scan. He asks what the problem actually is: pain at night, locking, instability, giving way.
- Weigh all four routes at once. Arthrosamid, PRP, stem cell treatment and surgery, by the one surgeon who does all of them every week.
- Rule out as much as rule in. You hear which routes aren't worth exploring, and why.
- A next step you can act on. Even if that step is "wait and see". It's 15 minutes, on video, for £30.
Arthrosamid
Hydrogel injection for knee osteoarthritis. Done in clinic, about half an hour.
PRP
Injection prepared from a small sample of your own blood. About 15 to 20 minutes.
Stem cell treatment
Cells taken from your own hip through a 1 cm incision. Home the same day.
Surgery
From keyhole procedures to partial or full knee replacement.
Descriptions are from Dr Attar's own explanations of each procedure. Whether any of them is suitable for you can only be decided at a full consultation.
Claim your Options Call with Dr AttarBring your list, not your X-ray. Here's what you walk away with.
Dr Attar doesn't start with the scan. He starts with the three things you'd most like to get back to doing, and works back from there.
- One answer instead of five opinionsFrom the only person in the room who offers every route.
- Which routes are worth your money, and which aren'tSo you stop paying for things that were never going to suit you.
- A next step you can actually takeIncluding "wait", if that's the honest answer.
- Your questions answered in plain EnglishNot a leaflet, not a sales pitch. 15 minutes with the surgeon himself.
- No day off work, no waiting roomMonday evening, on video, from your sofa.
- No referral, no scan neededIf you have scans or letters, have them to hand. If you don't, it doesn't matter.

The call is worth having if any of these sound familiar
These are the five signs Dr Attar tells people not to ignore. You'll hear him say them in the video.
- Knee pain that wakes you at night
- A knee that gives way or buckles on everyday activities
- Swelling that doesn't settle with rest
- Locking or catching that's becoming a problem
- Pain that's been getting worse for three months or more, despite painkillers and rest
It isn't for emergencies. If you need help now, call NHS 111, or 999 in an emergency.

What you get for £30, and why it isn't £300
Normally the first time you can ask Dr Attar anything is an initial consultation at the clinic, listed at £300. The Options Call is the conversation before that, with him, for £30, so that price isn't the reason you don't get an answer.
The Options Call
£300 is the clinic's listed price for an initial consultation. The Options Call is shorter and is not a consultation or a diagnosis. It's the straight answer about which routes are worth exploring.
Included
- 15 minutes on video with Dr Attar himself, not an admin discovery call
- He goes through what's been going on and what you've already tried
- Which of the four routes are worth exploring for you, in plain English
- A clear next step, even if that step is "wait and see"
Worth knowing
- Nothing to pay until your time is booked
- No commitment to any treatment, ever
- No referral or scan needed
- Any treatment is at the clinic in Altrincham and quoted separately, in writing
- The Knee Options Guide, sent when your call is bookedDr Attar's own plain-English explanation of all four routes: what each involves, how long it takes in clinic, and what the days after look like. So you arrive at the call already knowing the questions to ask.
- Your £30 comes off a full consultationIf, after the call, you decide to book an initial consultation at the clinic, the £30 is credited against it.

Questions people ask before they book
Is this a sales call for an expensive treatment?
No. He offers surgery and three non-surgical routes, so there's no reason to push any one of them, and plenty of calls end with "let's not do anything yet". Any treatment is quoted separately, in writing, and only after a full consultation. If you don't come away clearer, the £30 is refunded.
Will he push me towards one treatment?
No. Because he offers non-surgical routes as well as surgery, he has no reason to steer you anywhere. The call starts with what you want to get back to doing, and you leave knowing which routes are worth exploring for that, and which aren't.
Is the call really with Dr Attar?
Yes. The 15 minutes are with Dr Fahad Attar himself, a consultant knee surgeon, not an assistant or an admin team.
What if I've already been told I need a knee replacement?
Bring that with you. He does around 150 knee replacements a year, so he knows when one is the right call and when it isn't yet. You'll get his honest view of the alternatives and of the timing.
Do I need a referral or a scan?
No referral is needed. If you already have scans or letters, have them to hand, but they're not required. He starts with what the problem actually is, not the scan.
How much is treatment?
The £30 covers the video call. Any treatment is separate, and the clinic will give you the exact price in writing before anything is booked. Nothing is ever added without you agreeing to it first.
I'm on an NHS waiting list. Does this affect it?
No. The Options Call is separate from any NHS care, and you keep your place on any NHS list.
What if I can't do a Monday evening?
Tell our team when they call. Monday evenings are the regular slots, and they'll let you know if anything else opens up.
Is the £30 really refundable?
Yes. If the call doesn't happen on our side you don't pay at all. If it happens and you don't come away clearer, tell us and we refund it. That's the whole promise.
P.S.
If you've scrolled straight here, this is the short version. Dr Fahad Attar is a consultant knee surgeon who offers all four routes for a knee: Arthrosamid, PRP, stem cell treatment and surgery. The Options Call is 15 minutes on video with him, Monday evenings, from home, for £30 instead of the £300 initial consultation. You bring your list of what you want back. He tells you which routes are worth exploring and which aren't. If you don't come away clearer, you get the £30 back.
What happens if you do nothing is the same thing that's happened so far. Another winter of planning your days around the stairs, another injection that takes the edge off for a month, another year of collecting opinions that don't line up. The knee doesn't wait for you to decide.
There are 10 slots a week. Click below, answer four questions, and our team will ring you to find a Monday that suits.
